Join Tara, Community Education Worker, at Fife Cycle Park and enjoy a wonderful story on your walk based on theme of Owl Babies. Sessions will include, scavenger hunt, fun activities, movement and more.

This is a great session to develop your creativity and imagination, connect with nature and the outdoors and socialise with other parents and kids too!

Family friendly workshop recommended for all ages but must be accompanied by an adult.

Additional Information

Please note that this walk is weather-dependent. In the event of forecast adverse weather the walk may be cancelled. 

The route includes some slopes, on pavements, grass and woodland tracks. May be muddy/wet in places. No dogs please.

Please wear appropriate clothes for the weather.

Getting there

Bus - The nearest stop to Fife Cycle Park is Kingslea Cottage. This stop is a 5 minute walk away from Fife Cycle Park. This stop is on the 19 and 31 bus routes.

Train - Lochgelly Rail Station is a 15 minute walk or 5 minute cycle from Fife Cycle Park.

Car - There is limited parking at Fife Cycle Park. If this car park is full there is parking available at Lochgelly Rail Station (15 min walk or 5 min cycle) or Lochore Meadows (25 min walk or or 7 min cycle)

Accessibility

There are six accessible parking bays at Fife Cycle Park. There are toilets available at the venue and the terrain is a mixture of gravel and tarmac.
