Thu Feb 20, 2025 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM EST
Shelburne Old Town Hall, 05482
Description
Join GMC's Burlington Section and Ethan Tapper for night of stories and insights from his time as a forester, author, birder, naturalist, digital creator, and musician. Ethan Tapper served as Chittenden County Forester for the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation from 2016 – 2024, and is now a forestry consultant and author of the book “How to Love a Forest.” He manages his own patch of forest in Bolton, which he bought in 2017 and has been working to rehabilitate ever since. This talk will cover different topics than his popular ongoing book tour, so be sure to tune in even if you’ve attended another recent event.
The Green Mountain Club strives to provide free programming and workshops for all. If you are able, please consider an optional donation at registration to support broad access to hiker resources and education.
