Fall to Winter Forests

Enjoy learning about trees in fall on the short trail with GMC staff. Take in the Vermont late autumn landscape and learn about forests in the fall, common trees of the northeast, how their leaves play various purposes in woodland ecosystems, and how to identify trees after the leaves have fallen. During this hike we'll observe trees and other objects of interest along the way.

The walk is on a hiking trail with some slight elevation gain and will be approximately ½ mile long.
