Come celebrate Long Trail Day with the Green Mountain Club by joining us for a hike! Whether you are a registered Long Trail Day participant or not, we hope that you will participate. 

Be prepared to leave for your hike at 10 a.m. unless otherwise noted. Parking is available in the Stowe Mountain Resort parking lot across the street from the Visitor Center.

Choose from one of the planned hikes:

• Alpine Vegetation Interpretive Walk on the Mount Mansfield Ridgeline, led by GMC Staff Kate Songer (easy)
• Lake Mansfield Trail, led by Maggie Twitchell of Backpacking for Slowpokes (Slow hikers encouraged! easy-moderate)
  
• Sterling Pond Women's Hike led by GMC Deputy Director Alicia DiCocco (starts at 10 a.m., moderate-difficult, no hiker left behind)

Please choose your desired hike at checkout on the next page so we can get an expected headcount for each hike. Groups of larger than ten will be split into two to reduce impact on the trail. We will send an email with carpooling and hike details prior to the event.
