Whether you're brand new to gardening or you're already a keen grower, you're invited to take part in our monthly gardening club and lend a hand growing food and flowers at Railway Gardens.

Here's how it works!

• Gardening Club is open to all ages and all levels of experience, from complete beginner to confident gardener.
• Each monthly session with be led by our Garden Guru Helen who will support everyone taking part to plan what needs doing in the garden and find a task they enjoy. Activities you can expect include seed sowing, planting out young plants, clearing beds, pruning, harvesting and a lot more.
• You can stay for a little or as much of the session as you like.
• All tools and gloves are provided, although if you have your own gardening gloves and hand tools please do bring them to use.
• You'll be able to borrow gardening books for free from our little Green Library, sign up to borrow gardening tools from Benthyg (a library of things) and you'll also be able to dip into our free see library or see if there are free plants, pots, or produce available in our Crop Swap corner!

If you enjoy the session and you'd like to be more involved then you can join our Growing Group - a team of volunteers who pop in regularly to potter, plant, and take care of the growing spaces. You'll be able to join our friendly Whatsapp group and make plans to visit with other group members at times that suit you.

Registration for this event is totally optional and you can just drop in, but if you'd like us to send you a reminder closer to the event then please do register your free place. When you register you'll be added to our Railway Gardens mailing list and receive our newsletter months. You can of course unsubscribe from this at any time.

• Bydd ein sesiynau misol yn cael eu harwain gan Helen, ein Guru Garddio. Bydd Helen yn cynorthwyo pawb i gynllunio’r hyn y mae angen ei wneud yn yr ardd a bydd yn helpu pawb i ddod o hyd i dasgau a fydd wrth eu bodd. Bydd y gweithgareddau’n cynnwys hau hadau, plannu planhigion ifanc, clirio gwelyau, tocio, cynaeafu a llawer mwy.

• Gallwch aros cyhyd ag y dymunwch yn y sesiynau.

• Darperir offer a menig. Ond os oes gennych eich offer a’ch menig garddio eich hun, a wnewch chi ddod â nhw gyda chi.

• Bydd modd ichi fenthyg llyfrau garddio yn rhad ac am ddim o’n Llyfrgell Werdd, gallwch gofrestru i fenthyg offer garddio gan Benthyg (llyfrgell y pethau) a hefyd bydd modd ichi ddefnyddio ein llyfrgell hadau neu weld a oes planhigion, potiau neu gynnyrch am ddim ar gael yn ein cornel Cyfnewid Cnydau!

Os cewch flas ar y sesiwn ac os hoffech wneud mwy yn y dyfodol, gallwch ymuno â’n Grŵp Tyfu – sef criw o wirfoddolwyr sy’n dod draw yn rheolaidd i biltran, plannu a gofalu am y mannau tyfu. Bydd modd ichi ymuno â’n grŵp WhatsApp cyfeillgar a threfnu i ymweld ag aelodau eraill y grŵp ar adegau hwylus.
