How to: Fight for Cleaner Air in our Communities - with Mums for Lungs
Thu 7 Nov 2024 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM GMT
Online, Zoom
Description
Air pollution is a public health crisis - but what can we do to tackle it in our own communities?
In this session, we’ll hear from Mums for Lungs, a network of people who care about air pollution and are taking action. While Mums for Lungs began as mums on maternity leave they have grown to become a network for everyone - you don’t have to be a parent to get involved! and we are actively encouraging people outside of London to join our campaign.
We’ll find out more about the specific types of air pollution we are exposed to, and its impacts, but most importantly find out how we can fight back and make a difference in the places we live and work.

This event is part of our Climate Village programme.
The Climate Village is an online community where everyone becomes a climate leader, and everyone is welcome. It’s a space for members to explore what climate action means to them and create incredible change - close to home, in their community and beyond. We believe that responding to the climate and nature crisis needs everyone, so while members have the option to pay a monthly membership fee to support the project, our Buy One Give One subscription model means that anyone can attend, regardless of their ability to pay.
