Clothes Swap!

Of the 100 billion garments produced each year, 92 million tonnes end up in landfills. To put things in perspective, this means that the equivalent of a rubbish truck full of clothes ends up on landfill sites every second - but we can do something about this!

A clothes swap is a fantastic way to re-home your unwanted clothes and refresh your wardrobe for free. Here's how it works:

• All clean clothes in good condition are welcome - mens', womens' and childrens' clothes are all fine.
• If you have an item needing a small repair (such as a missing button) feel free to bring it but please pin on a tag or piece of paper explaining what repairs are needed.
• Bring your clothes along on the day between 10:30 - 11am.
• Swapping will begin at 11am and continue until 1pm. Don't forget to bring a bag to take home the clothes you choose!

Laura from the Cloth Nappy Library will also be joining us to demonstrate reusable nappy options.

Plus this year we're hosting a special eco period zone! Come and find out how we can reduce plastic pollution from period products and take home some free samples of items to try. 

Seal and Bear will be open for hot and cold drinks and food.

This is an event by and for the community so no traders please.
