Share It Saturday: Marvellous Moths!
Share It Saturday: Marvellous Moths!
Share It Saturdays are regular Saturday sessions where we learn from each other. Anyone in the community with a skill to share is invited to get involved.
For this month's Share It Saturday we're joined by the Butterfly Conservation Trust who will be sharing how we can all help moths in our gardens, whether we've got a windowsill, garden, or allotment.
Did you know that pollinators don’t just fly in the daytime? They are colourful part of a vibrant ecosystem under the stars at night too! Join Butterfly Conservation’s Pip Gray to discover the magical moths we share our city with, and how to help them thrive by creating Moon Meadows in our community. Learn everything you need to make your own Moon Meadow: from what to plant in your garden, the best ways to light your garden and neighbourhood, and how to speak up for moths in the community.
The session is perfect for you if you're interested in gardening, wildlife, or simply fancy trying something new! It is open to both adults and families and is suitable for ages 7+.
The Cafe will be open for lunch, drinks, and snacks - or bring a picnic!
