☀️ Summer family fun: Magical Creatures of Cardiff

Wed 6 Aug 2025 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Railway Gardens, CF24 2BH

Calling all your artists, illustrators, doodlers, and anyone who loves getting creative! Come and join artist and illustrator Jack Skivens, author of Night Of The Animal Wall to design your own mystical monster or legendary creature, inspired by your favourite bits of Cardiff.

In this illustration workshop you'll be invited to explore Railway Gardens to find inspiration for new characters that we can create together; we'll then be designing magical creatures big and small that help tell stories of our surroundings. This is a chance to explore, allow our imagination to run wild, and discover brand new tales to take away with us. We will be using pencils, pens, watercolour chalks, and inks to create different textures that suit our found Magical Creatures.

This event is part of our Enchanted Earth summer programme and there's lots more to enjoy! See our full community programme here
