Online Training: How to evaluate and learn from your community event

This event is part of our ‘Confident Community Events’ series, supporting Green Squirrel volunteers and others to take the next steps and planning and leading activities and events in their local community. It’s for anyone who has wondered about putting on event but doesn’t feel sure where to start, or needs some more confidence to take their first steps. You can take part in a single event or the whole series, it's up to you!

In this final session we’ll look at how you can capture the impact of your event. You will learn:

• Why evaluating your event is worth doing, and how to build evaluation into your planning

• Different tools for capturing the impact of your event in fun, creative, and accessible ways, both during and after your event

• What to do with the information you gather

This training is free for Green Squirrel volunteers, for anyone joining from another organisation we ask for a small donation. If you’re a Green Squirrel volunteer you’ll also be invited to join the events team to put your skills into practice!
