The Cardiff Festival of Sharing

What if Cardiff was a city of sharing... Join us for two days of swapping, mending, skill sharing and conversation! 

DAY 1: Saturday 25th April - Skills and sharing

🛠️ 10am - 12pm: Pop up repair cafe - bring your stuff and get it fixed for free with Repair Cafe Wales!

🚲 11am - 2pm: Community #BikeFix - Community Cycleworks will help you get your bike back on the road

🌀 12:30pm: Economies of Care: Resourcing Our Communities Differently. Every community is abundant in ways that money doesn't measure. Join Rabab to explore conversations that imagine rooted ways in which communities might resource themselves differently, and what that could look like here in Cardiff. 

🗣️ 1pm, Language Cafe. Learn words and phrases in other languages and share your own, supported by Let's Interpret. 

💌 1:45pm. Creative workshop: Creating a Landscape of Skills. Join Nic and get hands on with natural inks to explore what Cardiff would look like if sharing was everywhere. 

🧦 Skill sharing sessions throughout the day - booking strongly advised!

10am, Sketching for Wellbeing with Poppy (plus be part of a collaborative community artwork)
10am, Drill skills with goodShed (plus make a mini bird table to take home!)
10am, Scriptwriting for beginners with Tomos
From 10am: Learn to play chess - or just enjoy a friendly game
11:30am, Try Tai chi with Laura
11:30am, Learn to mend a sock with Paula
12pm: Try zumba with Monika
1pm, Introduction to mindfulness with Liz
2pm, Drill skills with goodShed (plus make a mini bird table to take home!)
2:15pm, Discover stained glass with Hannah

DAY 2: Sunday 26th April - Clothes Swap! 

👗 Our annual clothes swap is back! Bring clothes you no longer want and go home with something new to you, for free! 

🩸Explore plastic free options in the eco period zone

👶 Discover the cloth nappy library

🪡 Visiting the mending stations if your clothes need a little TLC

Drop off clothes from 10:30am

Swapping takes place from 11am - 1pm.
