Supporting Frontline Communities Working Group (2024 Q1)

Join Green Umbrella for the inaugural Supporting Frontline Communities Working Group meeting!

This group is dedicated to:

• Listening to community needs and co-create meaningful, self-determined engagement of community groups with the Regional Climate Collaborative and local governments
• Providing community leaders - especially leaders of color - with resources, technical support, and guidance in their climate efforts icon
• Identifying accountability & transparency pathways and opportunities between frontline communities and institutions

This first session is open to any community-based organization or frontline community group member in Green Umbrella's 10-county region. For following sessions, to attend working group meetings will require at least a Participating Level Green Umbrella Membership (it's free! Join here).

This Working Group is co-led by Ashlee Young, the Vice President of Policy and Engagement at Interact for Health.
