Join Green Umbrella and regional partners for a special evening of connection, conversation, and community on the eve of the 2026 Midwest Sustainability Summit.

This invite-only gathering brings together Green Umbrella board members, major donors, sponsors, community partners, and regional leaders for an intimate dinner and meet-and-greet with this year’s Summit keynote speaker, Dr. Rebecca Carter — a globally recognized leader in climate adaptation and resilience.

Hosted at Esoteric Brewing in Cincinnati’s Walnut Hills neighborhood, the evening will feature hors d'oeuvres, drinks, networking, and remarks from Dr. Carter and regional partners working to advance climate resilience and sustainability across Greater Cincinnati and beyond. Together, we’ll explore how local leadership, cross-sector collaboration, and community-driven solutions can help communities adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing world. Locally crafted herbal goods, art, zines, and more will be available as well!

Following the program, guests are invited to join a short guided walk to the nearby Melrose Medicinal Community Garden, where Meghan Henshaw, founder of Ocotillo Herbals and Green Umbrella Member, will share how the local garden supports community wellness, education, and ecological stewardship through medicinal plants and urban greenspace.
