Adult Safeguarding Level 3 Training

We are excited to extend an invitation to you for the upcoming Adult Safeguarding Level 3 Training, which will be conducted virtually on Thursday 9th May from 11:00 to 14:00.

**Training Objectives:**

1. Gain an overview of adult safeguarding principles and practices.

2. Understand the legislative framework surrounding adult safeguarding.

3. Explore key aspects of the Mental Capacity Act.

4. Discuss the nuances of addressing domestic abuse in the context of safeguarding.

5. Delve into the Prevent strategy and its relevance to safeguarding.

6. Examine the complexities of tackling modern slavery in the safeguarding context.

7. Review recent Greenwich Safeguarding Adult Reviews case studies and derive valuable insights.

The training will be facilitated by Dr. Mariyam Aqeel, the Named GP for Adult Safeguarding and Domestic Abuse Clinical Lead GP at NHS South East London. Dr. Aqeel brings a wealth of expertise and experience in the field, ensuring an insightful and engaging learning experience.
