Virtual PLT: Women's Health Session for Nurses

This educational session is designed for nurses working within primary care and women’s health services, providing practical guidance on common vulval and menopausal conditions frequently encountered in clinical practice.

Session topics will include:

• Vulvodynia and Vaginismus
• Common Vulval Skin Conditions
• Perimenopause and Menopause, including Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause (GSM)

The vulval dermatology component will focus on the most common presentations seen in practice, including recognition, assessment, and management approaches suitable for primary care settings.

The session aims to increase confidence in assessment, diagnosis, and first-line management, while highlighting when referral or escalation may be appropriate.
