Arrange & Graze with Greystone Flowers at Hackney House Cafe

Join us for a relaxed summer evening of flowers, food and creativity in the heart of the Derbyshire countryside at Hackney House Cafe in the picturesque village of Barlow.

Surrounded by beautiful seasonal blooms, you'll create your own vase arrangement using an abundance of freshly cut flowers, all while learning the secrets of growing your own cut flowers at home. Whether you're an experienced gardener or simply love flowers, this is an evening to inspire and enjoy.

Hosted by Vicky and Megan of Greystone Flowers, local flower farmers and florists based in Holmesfield, you'll discover more about growing seasonal British flowers and leave with an exclusive packet of Greystone Flowers seeds to sow in your own garden.

We will start the workshop with a talk on growing seasonal flowers in your gardens followed by a flower arranging demonstration before we enjoy a delicious grazing-style supper lovingly prepared by Hackney House Café & Deli. Enjoy a selection of homemade quiches, fresh seasonal salads, grazing boards and other delicious nibbles. This will then be followed by opportunity for you to create your own vase arrangement for you to take home and enjoy.
