Join Greystone Flowers for a relaxed and festive Christmas wreath making workshop at Hackney House Café, in the beautiful village of Barlow, Derbyshire.
We’ll have an abundance of beautiful seasonal materials for you to work with, including a range of fresh greenery to create your base, beautifully scented eucalyptus, winter berries, fruits and all the festive trimmings.
Whether it’s your first time making a wreath or you’re a seasoned pro, everyone is welcome. Our workshops are all about getting creative, learning something new and enjoying a few festive hours in a warm, fun and friendly environment.
Hackney House Café provides the perfect cosy setting, with festive refreshments and sweet treats to enjoy while you create.
At Greystone Flowers, we’re passionate about being as kind to the environment as possible. We source our materials locally wherever we can and use as many British-grown materials as possible. Each wreath begins with a willow base, hand-woven by us using British willow, and our foliage and decorations are attached with natural twine. We use sustainably sourced moss, leaving you with a fully compostable wreath base or, if you prefer, you can reuse your base for another wreath next year.
Once your wreath is complete, you’ll have a beautiful selection of ribbons to choose from to add the finishing touch. We especially love our luxurious velvet ribbons, which make your wreath ready to hang straight on your door.
Everything you need to create your wreath will be provided, so all you need to bring is yourself and a little festive creativity! You’re very welcome to bring your own garden gloves if you prefer to wear them while working.
Please note: The workshop will be held in an upstairs room, accessed by a staircase only.
