GREYZONE and Emily Kessler/POGO present an evening of new work on September 20th and 21st at 7:00pm. All are welcome to stay for a reception following the Saturday performance.

AMPLITUDE, a new GREYZONE dance created by Lindy Fines in collaboration with five performers, combines movement and visual design into a collage of human experience. The dance shifts through movement styles and gestures, from classical to contemporary, building a maximal work of forms, sensations, and relationships. Intricate choreography reveals connections among the performers, manifesting as a love letter to dance and community. Dancers + Collaborators: McCall Atkinson, Katerina Belmatch, Erin Dooley, Isaac Lerner, Chisato Yanagisawa, Elinor Kleber Diggs (understudy).

Rumble Strip stands on an edge. The dancers embody two forms of strength: athletic and formal. Their movements are precise, but collectively they spill like marbles bouncing around the room. Oscillating between kinetic sculpture and force majeure, Rumble Strip unleashes a relentless flow of form that washes the space in an increasing intensity. This work is choreographed by Emily Kessler in collaboration with the dancers. Dancers + Collaborators: Rachel Gill, Chelsea Enjer Hecht, Maddy Runyon, Kathryn Taylor, and Noa Rui-Piin Weiss.
