Grateful to bring to you again Groovanometry for the 8th edition! One of UK’s most exciting jams! Celebrating the dance culture of hiphop. We are really excited to be hosting another edition for you all!For those who are new to Groovanometry, welcome and for those who have supported this event before, WE ARE GONNA MAKE YOU SMILE EVEN MORE for upcoming edition.
Groovanometry's mission is to facilitate and unify everyone through HIPHOP CULTURE, we stand to make this a positive movement through what we do. For 2023 we are bringing back international guest DJ’s and dancers from around the world. Be sure not to miss this one, we have an interest change up to our event.
We have decided to continue Groovanometry as 3 day jam as it was a success last time.
We believe in creating an experience where those who attend have the full experience of the hiphop culture meaning there will be more opportunity to hang out with us, our international guests, party together, share conversation, share knowledge and simply experience MANCHESTER!
By having a 3 day jam, it has given us the opportunity to really delivery the hiphop experience over the weekend.Oh we ain’t done yet…Groovanometry theme for 2023 focuses on the music, meaning the DJ/ musicians to the dancers are going to be high caliber! Musicality at its finest. Watch out for the invites!BREAKING (International line up) 8 vs 8 exhibition battle.HIPHOP/ POPPERS (International line up) 8 vs 8 exhibition battle.We are keeping the same cypher qualification format. However, if you lucky enough to qualify then you’ll enter the:KNOCK OUT STAGE…During the CYPHER K/Q qualification there will be ‘GHOST JUDGES’ who will decide the TOP 8 dancers and will be given a ‘GROOVANOMETRY NECKLACE’ with a number on the back and the GHOST JUDGES will match two dancers with the same number, for example the number 1 will battle another number 1, 2-2 3-3 4-4… the judges will judge the KNOCK OUT STAGE till they reach their TOP CYPHER K/Q who will join the invited guest in the 8 vs 8 Exhibition Battle.
With the high interests from international dancers coming over for this jam, we are announcing the cypher qualification to be ‘OPEN’ it will everyone a chance! Plus, it will spice things up!

The festival will be spread over 3 days, 3 different venues filled with hiphip culture. Something that will make you go away smiling!

• Main event: 13.00- 21:00


FOOD & AFTER CHILL: 21:00- 01:00 (find food then decided where we will chill or disco lol)
