Grooves on the Green is Dorset's longest standing festival on your doorstep, on Ashley Cross Green attracting thousands each day.

 A GREAT DAY OF FOOD, DRINK & MUSIC WITH ENTERTAINMENT FOR THE KIDS!

The two-day, family-friendly gathering features live music and entertainment on two STAGES with the best MUSICIANS and ENTERTAINMENT Dorset and surrounding areas have to offer. Grooves on the Green is known for its great selection of FOOD stalls - This year sample food from around the world INCLUDING: MAURITIAN, INDIAN, LOADED FRIES, TIPSY TOASTIES, ICE CREAM, CHOCOLATE BROWNIES, HOG ROAST, MINI DUTCH PANCAKES, BURGERS, BREAKFAST BAPS, GREEK, CANDYFLOSS & SWEETS. Grooves on the Green has numerous BARS - including a PINK MERMAID GIN BAR, a POTHECARY GIN BAR, BRICKLAYERS MAIN BAR with all your classic festival drinks, a PIMMS & COCKTAIL BAR, LOCAL CIDER BARS, RUM BAR, BAREFACED BREWING BAR and REAL ALE TENT. 

Grooves offers entertainment for all the family including a KIDZ ZONE with an family ENTERTAINMENT STAGE, assault course, slide, roundabout ride, face painting and arts and crafts... Come along to Grooves to see what Dorset has to offer with local clothing, accessories, crafts stalls and more............ 

This is where ASHLEY CROSS comes together to relax, HAVE FUN and celebrate the community spirit that it’s famous for. Ashley Cross is a brilliant, vibrant area, but with a relaxed vibe that young families love just as much as those who have lived here a lot longer.

BEAT THE QUEUES - Sit in comfort in the GROOVE GARDEN AREA with tables and chairs, private bar & bathroom facilities in a dedicated area to the left of the stage with good viewing of the main stage.

Grooves supports local charities. For the past 6 years Grooves on the Green has supported DIVERSE ABILITES raising in the region of £35,000!

Every year Grooves has provided a line-up that features the best talented musicians that the South has to offer! Come along & support them and watch them showcase their talents playing a mix of covers, original music and instrumental performances at this years Grooves!!!

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• Children under 5 years are FREE
• Proof of ticket via smartphone or printed must be produced at the front entrances on the event day
• No alcohol is allowed to be bought onsite - glass is prohibited onsite
• Parking - There is a car park in Ashley Cross, and limited parking the road sides, please be considerate of our neighbours
• Transport - Taxi, bus stops, and a train station within a 2 minute walking distance
• Dogs are allowed onsite if they are kept on a lead
• Tickets are not refundable
• We reserve the right to refuse admission, to the ticket holder if they are intoxicated, under the influence of drugs or a safety risk
• We will be adhering to the current Covid safety guidelines, applicable to events at the time of operation
