Holmside Park 

Chester-le-street

Tuesday 28th May 2024
9.15am - 4pm

Join us for a action packed day at Holmside Park, Chester-Le-Street. With over 20 activities to enjoy including a giant inflatable obstacle course, Soft play, Helicopter, Fire Engine, Roller skating, Inflatable football plus much more. 

The coach will leave Marsden Road Community Centre, Horsley Hill, NE34 6RE at 9.15am and arrive back at approx. 4pm 

Please arrive no later than 9:00am to the Centre for a prompt 09.15am departure.

Prices:

Adult's Full Access: £19.00  (Ideal for Those Bringing Kids 4yrs+. Gives You All-Day Access to All Activities in Holmside Park.)

Adult Restricted: £14.00    (Ideal For Those With Toddlers or Who Just Want to Supervise. Gives You All-Day Access to Everything in the Park Excluding Archery,             Roller Skating or Our Giant Inflatable Obstacle Course.)

Child 4yrs+:   £19.00    (Full All-Day Park Admission for Over 4's With Access to 20+ Indoor & Outdoor Activities + FREE Anti-Bacterial Socks Included.                                         Does Not Include access to Dinosaur Trail.)

Toddler 1-3yrs £14.00    (Includes seat on coach   ***Giant inflatable not included with toddler ticket for safety reasons.***)

Infant Under 1: FREE     (No seat on coach must sit on parents lap)

Holmside Park requires everyone that visits to have a valid waiver. 16s and over complete their own, anyone under 16 must have theirs completed by a parent/guardian.

**All persons attending require a ticket, under 2's are free to enter the farm but must be declared at booking for space on the coach **

Persons under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult, aged 18 or over at all times and children must be supervised at all times around the Park.

Some rides have age restrictions for safety and/or insurance reasons.

Missed Departure - Your ticket shows the departure point and time. You are responsible for ensuring that you are at the correct departure point at the correct time, and we cannot be liable for any loss or expense suffered by passengers because of their late arrival. Staff have a list of passengers attending and in the event of passengers not being at the arranged point they will endeavor to trace them. The coach will wait a reasonable time, but if a passenger is delayed or not able to join the coach early notification will avoid unnecessary delay and inconvenience to other passengers. 

 
Cancellation - We do not offer a refund for cancelled tickets however, once the trip is fully booked (determined by all seats on the coach being sold) we will endeavor to re-sell any cancelled tickets and if successful we will refund monies.  Marsden Road Community Centre accepts no liability for any loss incurred if the day trip does not go ahead due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances beyond its control, or if the trip departs but fails to arrive at the destination.  As the trip has been paid for in advance we will still be going ahead despite unfavorable weather conditions.

Passengers with disabilities - Should you or a member of your party have any medical conditions or disability that may affect the excursion/day trip please advise us prior to confirming the booking so that we can advise you as to the suitability of the excursion/day trip. If a passenger requires assistance then they must travel with an able bodied Full All-Day Park Admission for Over 4's With Access to 20+ Indoor & Outdoor Activities + FREE Anti-Bacterial Socks Included. Does Not Include Access to Dinosaur Trail or friend. We will make every effort to accommodate the passenger. 

Why Can't Toddlers Use the Giant Inflatable? -  At two points in the obstacle course there is a 3 meter climb required to continue on the course. We've been advised by the company that provided the inflatables as well as a specialist advisor that a child under the age of 4 would not be able to safely manage a climb that size. Also, it's not safe for an adult to attempt those climbs whilst carrying a child, which is why we cannot allow toddlers around the course even with adult supervision. For your safety and the safety of your toddler, this is why the course is strictly for ages 4+. We appreciate some toddlers are bigger than others and maybe capable of completing it, but we do enforce this as a general rule purely for the safety of our visitors.

***PLEASE MAKE SURE SUITABLE CLOTHING IS WORN FOR OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES WATERPROOF COATS, WELLIES AND SUN CREAM MAY BE NEEDED.***
