Broom house Farm - Forest Adventure

Tuesday 6th August 2024
10am - 3.30pm

Join us for a action packed day at Broom House Farm for their Forest Adventure.

Broom House Farm’s Forest Adventure offers Durham’s most exciting action packed fun family day out…or just a lovely green leafy space to take a walk with the family. Follow the numerous nature trails, attempt the woodland challenges…climb the towers, whizz down slides, fly along the zip wires and dare to enter the tunnels.

If you’re not up for the physical challenges on offer, have a go at some of our forest quizzes. From dragon hunting to deer tracks, frogs to fairies, word searches to learning about our woodland trees, there’s something for everyone, young and old.

The coach will leave Marsden Road Community Centre, Horsley Hill, NE34 6RE at 10:00am and arrive back at approx. 3.30pm 

Please arrive no later than 9:45am to the Centre for a prompt 10am departure.

Tickets are £12.00 per person  2years+ 

(This includes return coach travel & Entry into the forest adventure) 

All adults and all children aged 2years and over entering the Forest Adventure must have a ticket. Children may not enter the Forest Adventure unattended.

**All persons attending require a ticket, under 2's are free to enter the farm but must be declared at booking for space on the coach **

Most of the paths are wheel friendly, although not all, and the more off-road type push chairs and wheelchairs are the best. Plenty of our visitors do manage with pushchairs and there is a special entrance for these to the left of the bridge.

Persons under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult, aged 18 or over at all times and children must be supervised at all times around the Park.

Some rides have age restrictions for safety and/or insurance reasons.

Missed Departure - Your ticket shows the departure point and time. You are responsible for ensuring that you are at the correct departure point at the correct time, and we cannot be liable for any loss or expense suffered by passengers because of their late arrival. Staff have a list of passengers attending and in the event of passengers not being at the arranged point they will endeavour to trace them. The coach will wait a reasonable time, but if a passenger is delayed or not able to join the coach early notification will avoid unnecessary delay and inconvenience to other passengers. 

 
Cancellation - We do not offer a refund for cancelled tickets however, once the trip is fully booked (determined by all seats on the coach being sold) we will endeavour to re-sell any cancelled tickets and if successful we will refund monies.  Marsden Road Community Centre accepts no liability for any loss incurred if the day trip does not go ahead due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances beyond its control, or if the trip departs but fails to arrive at the destination.  As the trip has been paid for in advance we will still be going ahead despite unfavourable weather conditions.

Passengers with disabilities - Should you or a member of your party have any medical conditions or disability that may affect the excursion/day trip please advise us prior to confirming the booking so that we can advise you as to the suitability of the excursion/day trip. If a passenger requires assistance then they must travel with an able bodied carer or friend. We will make every effort to accommodate the passenger. 

***PLEASE MAKE SURE SUITABLE CLOTHING IS WORN FOR OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES WATERPROOF COATS, WELLIES AND SUN CREAM MAY BE NEEDED.***
