Marsden Road Community Centre will be hosting a Day Trip to 

Windermere

Tuesday 30th July 2024

8.00am - 7.00pm

Windermere and the surrounding area is arguably the most famous and popular area in the whole of the Lake District. There are a range of activities, attractions, places of interest and things to do around the lake, and on it!

There's so much to do in Windermere from visiting the World of Beatrix Potter Home - The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction (hop-skip-jump.com) Tickets are advised to book in advance. 

There's Lake cruises, boat hire, Wray Castle or you can just explore the quaint village and shops.

Return Coach and Free time in Windermere included

The coach will leave Marsden Road Community Centre, Horsley Hill, NE34 6RE at 8.00am and arrive back at approx. 7.00pm

Please arrive no later than 7.45am for a prompt departure at 8.00am



Terms & Conditions

Missed Departure - Your ticket shows the departure point and time. You are responsible for ensuring that you are at the correct departure point at the correct time, and we cannot be liable for any loss or expense suffered by passengers because of their late arrival. Staff have a list of passengers attending and in the event of passengers not being at the arranged point they will endeavor to trace them. The coach will wait a reasonable time, but if a passenger is delayed or not able to join the coach early notification will avoid unnecessary delay and inconvenience to other passengers. 

Cancellation - We do not offer a refund for cancelled tickets however, once the trip is fully booked (determined by all seats on the coach being sold) we will endeavor to re-sell any cancelled tickets and if successful we will refund monies. Marsden Road Community Centre accepts no liability for any loss incurred if the day trip does not go ahead due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances beyond its control, or if the trip departs but fails to arrive at the destination. As the trip has been paid for in advance we will still be going ahead despite unfavorable weather conditions. 

Passengers with disabilities - Should you or a member of your party have any medical conditions or disability that may affect the excursion/day trip please advise us prior to confirming the booking so that we can advise you as to the suitability of the excursion/day trip. If a passenger requires assistance then they must travel with an able bodied carer or friend. We will make every effort to accommodate the passenger.
