Thanks to the funding from the National Lottery Community Fund 

Marsden Road Community Centre will be hosting a Day Trip to 

Forbidden Corner 

The coach will leave Marsden Road Community Centre, Horsley Hill, NE34 6RE at 10:30am and arrive back at approx. 7.30pm

Please arrive no later than 10.15am to the centre for a prompt 10.30am departure.

We will arrive at Forbidden Corner for the first entry time slot at 12.30pm and depart at 6pm

Tickets are: 

£24 for adults

£22 for 4+ children

2-3 years £7

Under 2s free (No seat,parents lap)

The Forbidden Corner is a unique labyrinth of tunnels, chambers, follies and surprises created within a four acre garden in the heart of Tupgill Park and the Yorkshire Dales. A tourist visitor attraction unlike anywhere that you have been before, ideal for the adventurers and those young at heart!

This award-winning spot is a modern rendition of a garden, walled in its entirety and studded with Victorian-style follies. These mysterious follies are drenched in gothic and fantastical themes. This dense labyrinth of dark chambers and winding tunnels challenges thrill seekers to dive in and find their way through curious turns and dead ends. Daunting, eerie and absolutely adventurous, the Forbidden Corner is a must-visit solely for the strong hearted.

There are plenty of eateries to pick up lunch (**Not included in the price of day trip**) and also plenty of picnic areas if you're bringing a packed lunch.

Under 2's FREE ( Over 2's must have a seat assigned on the coach)

Terms & Conditions

***Price includes return coach and Day entry ticket only***

**All persons attending require a ticket, under 4's are free to enter Forbidden and the £7 payment is to reserve them a space on the coach. Only under 2's can be seated on parents lap but must be selected at time of booking**

Persons under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult, aged 18 or over at all times and children must be supervised at all times around the attraction.

Missed Departure - Your ticket shows the departure point and time. You are responsible for ensuring that you are at the correct departure point at the correct time, and we cannot be liable for any loss or expense suffered by passengers because of their late arrival. Staff have a list of passengers attending and in the event of passengers not being at the arranged point they will endeavour to trace them. The coach will wait a reasonable time, but if a passenger is delayed or not able to join the coach early notification will avoid unnecessary delay and inconvenience to other passengers. 

Cancellation - We do not offer a refund for cancelled tickets however, once the trip is fully booked (determined by all seats on the coach being sold) we will endeavour to re-sell any cancelled tickets and if successful we will refund monies. Marsden Road Community Centre accepts no liability for any loss incurred if the day trip does not go ahead due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances beyond its control, or if the trip departs but fails to arrive at the destination. As the trip has been paid for in advance we will still be going ahead despite unfavourable weather conditions. 

Passengers with disabilities - Should you or a member of your party have any medical conditions or disability that may affect the excursion/day trip please advise us prior to confirming the booking so that we can advise you as to the suitability of the excursion/day trip. If a passenger requires assistance then they must travel with an able bodied carer or friend. We will make every effort to accommodate the passenger.
