This family-friendly event is the perfect opportunity to have fun whilst supporting a wonderful local charity. There’s something for everyone to enjoy - a full day line-up of bands and DJs, delicious food and drink from local vendors, and fun party games and activities for the kids. Terms and conditions

By purchasing a ticket for Grove Cottage in the Park you accept and agree to abide by the following terms:

Refunds and cancellation

We will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that the event takes place so far as reasonably possible in accordance with the local authority rules and regulations. However, we do reserve the right to cancel, postpone or make such alterations to the event as we may reasonably require without any liability to you.

‘In the unlikely scenario that the event must be postponed or cancelled by the organisers due to circumstances outside their control – for example another Covid-19 lockdown, or inclement weather, we regret that we are unable to refund the ticket cost and donation. Any funds from ticket sales will be treated as donations unless you contact Grove Cottage directly for a refund.’

Photos and publicity

Photographs and videos may be taken throughout the event in which, as a participant, you may feature.

You consent to all and any use in any current or future media by Grove Cottage of any photographs, images and/or films in which you feature, and the parents or guardians of any Young Person give consent in respect of their child(ren).

Should you prefer that Grove Cottage do not use any such images in which you may appear which are taken at the event or any event-related occasion in any promotional materials or if you do not wish to be the subject of any photography, please notify us by emailing fundraising@grovecottagemencap.org

You acknowledge that no payment will be made to you for the use of any photographs, images or films in which you or your child (ren) feature.

Health and safety

You take part in this event at your own risk and will not hold Grove Cottage or any connected persons responsible for any accident, injury or illness sustained to the fullest extent possible in law.

Following instructions and signage

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to act responsibly and adhere to the instructions of Grove Cottage volunteers or its marshals during the entirety of the event, including following all route signage. Failure to adhere to these instructions will result in you being responsible for any fees or costs incurred or arising from an accident caused by your behaviour.

All participants under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Whilst at the event, we ask that you avoid behaving in any way which may cause offence or damage the reputation of Grove Cottage, for example by using aggressive or abusive language, or by behaving in a way which may cause injury or harm to other participants and/or spectators.

No illegal substances or intoxicants of any kind are to be brought into the event or used by you before or during the event.

Online security

If broadcasting your attendance at the event via social media, such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, YouTube or any such site or social media platform, you shall not upload, post, e-mail or otherwise transmit or publish any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libellous, invasive of another’s privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable. You must agree to delete any content which we reasonably consider to be in breach of this conditions.

Loss or theft of property 

Grove Cottage nor its sponsors or suppliers will not be responsible for any loss, theft or damage of your personal belongings, other than caused as a result of its negligence or breach of statutory duty.

Grove Cottage, their employees or agents reserves the right to refuse your attendance or participation in the event if you are found not to abide with any or all of these Terms & Conditions.
