There's Good in Ybor: Fundraiser & Community Rally
When challenges arise in our cherished communities, we often find ourselves seeking assistance from those who may not truly understand or appreciate the unique spirit within. Now is the moment for us to unite, for the love of OUR city, and to safeguard OUR community. Let's commit to the necessary efforts to ensure the safety of ourselves, our patrons, our children, and our neighborhoods.
In direct response to the heartbreaking shooting that shook Ybor, claiming the lives of two young citizens, the artists, show hosts, venue owners, and admirers of the Ybor community are joining forces to host an extraordinary fundraising event. The aim is to gather funds for The Andrew Joseph Foundation, a noble cause dedicated to supporting grieving parents of lost children and implementing programs focused on disrupting community violence. Moreover, this event marks the OFFICIAL launch of a series of community-based, risk mitigation, first aid, crisis management, and community safety/recovery workshops, training sessions, and programs. These are open to ALL who share a concern for the well-being of OUR beloved Ybor City.
Join us at Crowbar on December 11 to experience some of Tampa's absolute BEST music and art performances, listen to insights from influential contributors to Ybor, witness INCREDIBLE live painters, participate in raffle prizes and giveaways, and most importantly, BE A PART OF THE SOLUTION.
It's time we embrace the responsibility within our own hands, just as Ybor was founded!"
