Growing Communities’ farmers’ market are delighted to invite you to this year’s farm trip to Hook & Son’s organic dairy farm. Walk the fields, meet the cows and tour the dairy. You will be shown round the farm by Joe Hook (Steve's son and Phil's grandson), who knows everything you could want to know about raw milk production. He'll share the story of the farm and the family's fight to continue to sell raw milk. This is an amazing opportunity to meet the latest generation of farmers keeping a small organic dairy farm in operation and enjoy a day in the beautiful Sussex countryside – teeming with many varieties of birds, including several on the endangered list. Plus there will be a cream tea included as part of the ticket, made with cream from the farm.
Please bring your own packed lunch and wear sturdy footwear.
Tickets include return travel to and from Stoke Newington by coach and the cream tea.
Note: we charge the amount needed to cover the cost of the coach so we are not able to offer discounts.
