Restoring Urban Nature

Growing Green is a local volunteer group based in North London whose mission is to increase urban biodiversity, mitigate climate change, combat air pollution and bring communities together. Working mainly in schools, Growing Green works to identify ways to increase biodiversity and make wildlife improvements happen together with staff, pupils and the whole school community. We also work in social housing estates and any other public spaces where we find an opportunity to create more wildlife and nature friendly areas. All the money we raise through events goes to pay for planting projects.
