#NyonyaSupperClub @ HCCS – Sat 13th Apr 2024

On Saturday April 13th, Chef Guan Chua (@Guan_Chua) will be hosting a Supper Club at the @HackneyChinese Community Services (HCCS) centre in London Fields.

Doors open for the arrival of guests at 6.30pm, dinner will kick off at 6.45pm.

The menu (see below) will feature 8-courses (BYOB) of Nyonya Supper Club signatures and Malaysian-Chinese favourites. Highlights include Babi Pongteh (Braised Belly Pork in Fermented Soy Bean Paste), Wok-fried Sambal Squid with Garlic Scapes, Gula Apong & Horlicks Parfait & more!

The cost is £68 per person (in addition, a payment processing fee of 1.5% + £0.20 per transaction and a booking fee of £0.48 per ticket will apply at checkout). 

As this is a one-off menu, it will not be possible to change the menu or cater specifically for any allergies or dietary requirements. For those with serious allergies, please also note that cooking will involve the use of shrimp paste, nuts & gluten.

Seating will be on communal round tables of 6pax - solo diners or smaller groups attending will be required to share their food family style.

£5 from every ticket sold that evening will be donated back towards the community centre to support the good work they do which ranges from helping the vulnerable and elderly to the organisation of community events year round.

Seating arrangements and ticket sales

Please note that seating will be on communal round tables of 6 pax. If you are booking in a group of 6 pax, we will do our best to seat your whole group together. Smaller groups or solo diners booking will be required to share family-style dishes with another party.

What can I bring into the event?

The event is BYOB – basic tumbler glasses will be provided as well as tap water.

Are children allowed?

Please let us know if you plan on bringing a child or baby – there are no high chairs at the venue so young children will need to be on your lap or in their pram (we will allocate a suitable table with pram space nearby). If your children will be joining you during the meal, each child will require a full priced ticket to be bought for them.

What's the refund policy?

Refunds are possible provided a guest requests a refund more than 48 hours before the start of the event by emailing the organiser (guanleong@gmail.com). However please note that all transaction and booking fees are non-refundable as these are retained by the respective ticketing & payment processing platforms.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
