This world can be a scary place, particularly for women and LGBTQIA+ people. Recent events and the current political climate in our country has caused many to feel anxious, unsettled, and frankly a bit scared. The team at OutFit is passionate about empowering our community. This is why we’ve teamed up with Karen Farthing and Courtney McCarthy-Beadnell to bring you a Situational Awareness Self Defense Mini Course!

When people hear the words “self defense” it usually provokes thoughts of breaking choke-holds, body slamming assailants, and crotch-kicking bad guys… well, we’re here to show you that self defense is so much more than that! In this mini course you will learn how to better identify a dangerous situation before it escalates to the point of a physical attack and ways to avoid becoming the victim of a violent crime. Both instructors are passionate about protecting yourself with non-lethal tools and will instruct you on how to properly use Oleoresin Capsicum (OC), AKA pepper spray! If you’d like to leave the class with a live agent in hand, please make sure to select that option upon check-out of your ticket purchase.

If this sounds like a class you would be interested in and benefit from, join us Saturday, January 18th, at the Paducah Goodwill Opportunity Center! There is limited seating available for this event and tickets must be purchased in advance. Ticket sales will close on Friday, January 17th at 6:00pm CT.

Tickets are $10.00. Live agent OC can be purchased at checkout for an additional $20.00. There will be product on hand for purchase with cash ($20.00) as well. Product ordered in advance will be available at the end of the class.

If tickets sell out, we will explore the possibility of offering a second class at a later date.

All necessary materials will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own refreshments.

CANCELLATION POLICY AND REFUND POLICY: (CUSTOMER) To cancel your reservation, you may use the self-serve options through Ticket Tailor or send a request to guardiennesolutions@gmail.com. In order to receive a full refund to your original purchase method, your cancellation request must be received at least 7 days prior to the first day of the course. NO REFUNDS for cancellations less than 7 days prior to the first day of the course. (COMPANY) Guardienne Solutions, LLC reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course up to 14 days prior to the first day of the course for any reason. In this event, a full refund will be issued to your original purchase method. Courses are generally not affected by weather however, if staff determines that it is unsafe for instructors and/or students to travel, if course location is damaged, or any other unforeseen circumstances occur, the course may be rescheduled. In the event Guardienne Solutions reschedules a course due to such circumstances, tickets will be refunded via voucher that students can use towards the rescheduled course or another course.

Refunds will not be issued for Live Agent OC once the purchaser leaves the event.
