This course is in partnership with McCarthy Counseling and Consulting, LLC. 

Many of our students seek firearms education as a result of experiencing trauma. Because of this, it is our responsibility as instructors/coaches to approach instruction with a trauma-informed mindset. What does it mean to be trauma-informed? It involves recognizing the impact of trauma and provide coaching that is empathetic, responsive, and aimed at preventing re-traumatization. In this course, you will learn how to apply trauma-informed principles specifically within a firearms training environment from a licensed mental health professional and firearms instructor/coach.

This course has a hard cap of 10 participants to allow for meaningful discussion. If the course is full, you may request to be put on the waiting list.

In this event, a full refund will be issued to your original purchase method. Courses are generally not affected by weather however, if staff determines that it is unsafe for instructors and/or students to travel, if course location is damaged, or any other unforeseen circumstances occur, the course may be rescheduled. In the event Guardienne Solutions reschedules a course due to such circumstances, tickets will be refunded via voucher that students can use towards the rescheduled course or another course.
