Community Event: Harvest Moon & Equinox Walk

Description
Join Mia as we come together with a group of like-hearted people for a soulful guided walk up Moel Faban. On this walk, we’ll aim to see the sun set and the harvest moon rise. The moon rises faster than usual near the equinox, and in days gone by this enabled farmers to work late into the night and bring the crops in from the field, hence the name Harvest Moon.
As we near the equinox, light and darkness become equal. On our walk, we’ll reflect on what this time of balance means to us. We’ll also acknowledge that we’re entering the time when the power of the sun begins to wane and we enter the darker part of the year. This darker period brings a chance to turn inward, to reflect, and to rest. We’ll explore these themes in silence and as a group.
What’s a Guided by Nature Community Event?
Community Events are our way of giving back to our local community and caring for our environment. We give our time freely and request that you make a small charitable donation to North Wales Wildlife Trust, registered charity number 230772. Your donation will be passed on in full, minus card processing fees of about 28p per £5 donation. You can still attend a Community Event if you can’t make a donation; please let us know by email before you book.
