Carrie Dunn is a football writer. Her most recent book is Flying the Flag: The Footballing Heroines of the Home Nations Who Made History Abroad (Hero Press, 2025), shortlisted for the 2026 Vikki Orvice Award for Women’s Sports Writing.
Her previous books include Unsuitable for Females: The Rise of the Lionesses and Women’s Football in England (Arena Sport, 2022), nominated for Football Book of the Year.
Her own footballing career began - and ended - with the Junior Hatters' supporters' club in her hometown of Luton.
