Help our coaches take two of our Guildford Saints girls’ teams to the Gothia World Cup!

The Gothia Cup isn't just any tournament—it's the world's largest and most prestigious international youth football event. Every year, around 1,700 teams from over 80 nations come together to compete in 4,500 matches across 110 pitches. It’s a true celebration of the global football community. And this year, we want to be part of it. Two of our girls’ teams (U15 and U14) are hoping to represent our country at the Gothia Cup. Competing at this level would be a monumental achievement, and we’re reaching out to you for support.

This would be the teams’ first-ever international trip, and their first experience playing on an international stage. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity could shape their futures, both in football and beyond. But we can’t make it happen without you.
We’re aiming to raise at least £10,000 to cover the costs of flights, accommodation, coaching, and visas for our girls to compete in Sweden. 

The Gothia Cup offers far more than just football. It provides young players with a unique cultural, educational, and sporting experience that broadens their horizons and deepens their understanding of the game. For our girls, this isn’t just an opportunity to compete; it’s a chance to grow, learn, and be inspired on an international platform.

The parents are holding a race night to help raise funds for this amazing trip. Race nights can be fantastic fundraisers but also great fun!

Tickets cost £15 each including food (see ticket details for food options). Tables can hold up to 8 people and there is an option to pay for one table for £120. Please contact us if you have any specific dietary requirements. 

Every ticket will be entered into a prize draw to win an amazing 65 inch TV!
