Please join Gunn Theatre for our spring production, a stage adaptation of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, March 20–28, 2026, in Spangenberg Theater at Gunn High School.

This fast-paced and boisterous adaptation by Kate Hamill offers a new take on Jane Austen’s beloved British classic. Without a dowry or property, Mrs. Bennet must marry off her five daughters to save them from ruin. While Jane is quickly entranced by a young Mr. Bingley, her younger sister Elizabeth is determined not to marry—and especially not the prideful and judgmental Mr. Darcy, who she can’t seem to stop crossing paths with. Come watch the Bennet sisters navigate courtship, contend with societal expectations, and find love where they least expect it in this delightful Regency-era romantic comedy.

Opening Night Gala will feature:

• An Opening Night prologue delivered by Mr. Paul Dunlap at 6:30pm, followed by the first performance of Pride and Prejudice at 7 p.m.

• A gala celebration after the show with desserts, snacks, drinks, music, and entertainment. All audience members, cast, and crew are cordially invited to join in the fun!

General information:

The play will last approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes, with one intermission.

Suitable for all ages.

All performances will take place in Spangenberg Theater.

All performances are SOLD OUT! There may be tickets available at the door if there are no-shows. 

Ticket holders should be present by 5 minutes after curtain, or risk your ticket being given to the stand-by audience!
