Make a Scrap Collage Journal

In this workshop, participants will use recycled materials to make a hand-bound book with pockets and pull-outs which can be used as a journal, sketchbook or notebook.

Artist Gwendolyn Jones will guide you through the process of folding and binding your book, then designing and decorating a cover and inserts using collage material.

This is a fun, informal workshop for all levels. The emphasis will be on creative freedom and guided play.

All materials provided. 

Session is 2 hours long. £12

Gwendolyn Jones is a printmaker and collage artist.

She makes prints, artists books and other handcrafted objects using DIY print methods and shares these techniques in fun, informal workshops for all levels. A large focus of her work is using scrap and repurposing discarded objects and materials. Experimentation, discovery and play are at the centre of her practice.

About the venue: Reading Biscuit Factory is fully accessible with a customer lift at the main entrance.
