Guided walk - The Battle of Hyddgen - Gwyl Glyndwr

Join Arfon Hughes on one of his highly informative and entertaining guided walks. This route will entail approximately 12 miles through woodland and open terrain. We will meet at Senedd Dy and then car-share to the start point several miles away. 

The Battle of Hyddgen 1401 was a pivotal victory for Owain Glyndwr and all the subsequent events of his revolt flow from it. Had Glyndwr been defeated here it is probable that there would have been no more to be said about him and English Royal power would have been reasserted. Visit the site of the famous battle and follow in Owain's footsteps and a glorious victory.

You must bring: 

Packed lunch with water, sturdy walking boots, waterproofs and a warm top. 

Meet at 10AM promptly outside Senedd Dy Machynlleth.
