Storytelling and Folklore for Families

Sat 13 Sep 2025 4:30 PM - 5:45 PM Hackhurst Farm, BN27 4BP

Join children's book author Dawn Casey and illustrator Lucinda Warner for an afternoon of storytelling for families. Traditional tales and folklore are woven together in celebration of our friends from the natural world: the birds, the trees, the plants and the animals.

Signed copies of Dawn and Lucinda's book, RSPB Bird Tales - a treasury of traditional tales, folklore, crafts and activities honouring 25 of Britain's most beloved birds - will be available to buy, alongside Dawn's latest collection of folktales, Nature Tales - where you can meet Wolf and Wood Mouse, Owl and Oak, Bramble, Badger and Bee.

Dawn will be sharing stories from the land and Lucinda will be popping up with snippets of folklore and fun facts in between.

This event is Free.
