Tree Planting Day at Hackhurst Farm
Tree Planting Day at Hackhurst Farm
You are warmly invited to join us at Hackhurst Farm with The Children's Forest project for a community tree planting day, of native trees grown locally from seed.
Part of the vision for these woodlands is that they are used by local people for vision quests, solo retreats and for times when there is a calling to camp out alone in nature, but in a place that's safe and welcoming.
This is a hands-on day for all ages where you will be guided to plant young trees to extend the existing Children’s Forest and to tend some of the trees we have planted in previous years. Full instruction and all materials and tools will be provided.
We will gather around a warming fire and enjoy games, songs and stories as well as plant and tend the trees. There will be time to slow down, connect with nature, and share in the simple joy of tending the Earth together.
No experience is needed - just a willingness to get muddy fingers, be outdoors, and be part of something fun that supports nature and builds connection for humans and animals alike. Bring a packed lunch and something to drink.
Please select tickets, so we know how many are attending.
