Dalston Peace Mural

Local historian, Laurie Elks chairs a panel discussion with Roland Walker and Alan May: two of the figures in the Dalston Peace Mural. Roland is the son of Ray & Anna Walker. Ray designed the mural and Anna co-painted the mural following Ray’s untimely death, with Mick Jones. Alan was a member of Chats Arkestra, who played at the 1983 Peace March celebrated by the mural. Together, they will decode the mural’s narrative and history; identifying the faces, themes and events depicted.
