A panel of local architects, historians and artists will explore the value of the stories behind the architecture of the existing, and how to respect the past as we plan for what comes next. Hosted by local architecture practice Morris+Company in their studios which occupy part of a late Victorian former factory and warehouse building on Mare Street. Learn how the practice reshaped and revived the existing building using circular economy principles to create a modern, working studio space. At the same time, visit their latest exhibition FROM THE QUARTER TO THE MORTAR: The Story of 15 Norton Folgate - a heritage-led, award-winning retrofit project in Shoreditch on the City Fringe.
