Clare Mackintosh grew up in Haddenham, discovering a love of books at St Mary’s CofE Primary School, and Haddenham Middle School. Following a successful career in Thames Valley Police, she left to become a freelance writer. Her debut novel, I Let You Go, was an international bestseller, hitting the New York Times and Sunday Times lists and winning the coveted Theakston’s Old Peculier Crime Novel of the Year. Collectively, her books have now sold more than three million copies and been translated into 40 languages. Several of her books are currently in development for screen.
Join us for this exclusive evening with Clare, and hear how she made the leap from crime-fighting to crime-writing. Following her talk, there will be an opportunity to ask questions and to buy signed and dedicated copies of Clare’s books. All funds raised from tickets to this event will be donated to Rotary Charities and Rotary Projects.
Talk starts at 7:30 PM, doors and bar open at 7:00 PM
