After gaining a Music Degree at Canterbury Christ Church University, in 2008, Charlotte went on to start her teaching career, gaining experience in Secondary and Primary schools across Essex. Her principal instrument is the clarinet, and she is a member of Harmonie Concert Band, performing on bandstands, in theatres and in churches, raising money for communities. Since being a Music Tutor for Essex, she has taught small groups, whole class and individual lessons, from recorders, glockenspiels, flutes, clarinets to ukuleles. She has also been leading the Junior Music Programme at Benfleet Music School. Learning an instrument is so good for the mind, developing fine motor skills and confidence.
