The Mayor of Halton, Kevan Wainwright, and his wife Andrea are fundraising with Halton Foundation to provide bursary opportunities for young people in our Borough to help them overcome obstacles into higher education or vocational apprenticeships. Coming from a low income family, being a care leaver, certain additional needs can all present limits to future potential and we want to provide bursary opportunities to help overcome hurdles where possible.
