What does the escalating climate and nature crisis mean for everyday life, public health, and our local economy in the UK?

Join us at Halwyn on 3rd November for a special screening of The People's Emergency Briefing.

Commissioned following the historic National Emergency Briefing in Westminster, this 50-minute documentary brings together testimony from nine of the UK’s leading climate scientists, food security experts, and economists. Fronted by Chris Packham and featuring familiar public figures like Deborah Meaden and Jennifer Saunders, the film sets out in clear, unflinching terms the immediate risks facing our health, food systems, national security, and economy.

This is a critical opportunity for local decision-makers, council staff, and community partners to cut through the noise, review evidence-led risks, and discuss how we can build robust local resilience.

The screening will be followed by a 30-minute facilitated discussion hosted by Dan Lee focusing on our local climate action paths and what steps we must take next to protect our community.
