Hamburgs Backyard ist der erste Gravel Ultra in Hamburg. Gemacht für alle, die sich neu an Ultras heranwagen.

Dein nächstes Abenteuer wartet nicht sechs Flugstunden entfernt, sondern direkt vor deiner Haustür, in Hamburgs Backyard. Vom Mittwoch, den 24. Juni 2026 bis Sonntag, den 28. Juni 2026 möchten wir mit dir Gravel Ultra Rennen direkt in unsere Hansestadt bringen.

Fahr, wie du willst - ob schnell, langsam, allein oder zu zweit. Die Reise ist das Ziel. Auf 700 Kilometer durchquerst du, Solo oder im Pair, die malerischen Landschaften Mecklenburgs.

Neben dem klassischen 700km Ultra haben wir dieses Jahr noch ein neues Event für euch: die Nightshift. Wenn du Lust auf Ultra-Feeling hast, aber (noch) nicht die ganze Distanz fahren willst, ist das dein Ding. Am Freitagabend geht’s los – etwa 250 km mit GPS-Tracker durch die Nacht, nur du und dein Rad.

Du brauchst nicht jenseits der Zivilisation zu sein, um mitten im Nirgendwo zu landen. Bei Hamburgs Backyard bist du weit genug weg von allem, um mit dir, deinen Gedanken und Freunden allein zu sein.

• Eine kleine Stärkung und ein Platz zum Ruhen auf einem Gutshof bei der Streckenhälfte (Nur für den Ultra)

Your next adventure isn't a six-hour flight away—it’s waiting right on your doorstep in Hamburg’s Backyard. From Wednesday, June 24, 2026, to Sunday, June 28, 2026, we want to bring gravel ultra-racing directly to our Hanseatic city.

Ride however you like—fast, slow, solo, or in a pair. The journey is the reward. Over 700 kilometers, you will traverse the picturesque landscapes of Mecklenburg, either solo or as a pair.

In addition to the classic 700km Ultra, we have a brand-new event for you this year: the Nightshift. If you want that ultra-feeling but aren't (yet) ready for the full distance, this is for you. It kicks off Friday evening—roughly 250 km through the night with a GPS tracker, just you and your bike.

You don’t need to be beyond the reaches of civilization to end up in the middle of nowhere. At Hamburg’s Backyard, you are far enough away from everything to be alone with yourself, your thoughts, and your friends.
