A sound bath is a deeply restorative and meditative experience where you are ‘bathed’ in the healing vibrations of instruments such as singing bowls, chimes, and sometimes gongs, and drums. These sounds help calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and restore balance to mind, body, and spirit.

Many people describe is as feeling like they’ve had a deep rest, creative reset, or emotional release. No previous experience with meditation is needed – you simply lie back and allow the sounds to wash over you.

What to Expect

  • The session will last an hour with 45 minutes of that time  being taken up with the sound experience.
  • You will be guided into a comfortable, restful position lying down (or seated if preferred).
  • The soundscape will gradually build using a variety of instruments, the I gently bring you back to wakeful awareness.
  • Everyone’s experience is unique – you may feel deeply relaxed, emotional, energised, or even drift into sleep. All responses are welcome.

  • A yoga mat (or something soft to lie on)
  • A blanket to keep you warm (your body temperature can drop when deeply relaxed)
  • A pillow/cushion for your head, and another for under your knees if you like
  • An eye pillow or scarf to block out light (optional)
  • A water bottle to hydrate afterwards
  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing
