Janáček’s Intimate Letters follows, written in the last year of his life and inspired by his intense correspondence with Kamila Stösslová, the much younger woman who became his muse. In this semi-staged performance, the quartet is interwoven with a narrated script that brings their extraordinary relationship vividly to life.
