The Shires

Fate is a curious thing. One small twist here, a turn there… Before they became The Shires, singer-songwriters Ben Earle and Crissie Rhodes had met a series of dead-ends. Now they’re the UK’s most successful country music export, with multiple top 10 albums and hundreds of thousands of tickets sold around the world.

The Shires achievements speak for themselves: three consecutive UK Top 3 albums, five #1 UK Country albums, 100 million+ streams, two Gold-certified records, and countless sold-out headline shows, including filling the prestigious Royal Albert Hall.

The Shires first broke through in 2014 with their single ‘Nashville Grey Skies’, a playful song about Britain needing its own country scene. And that’s something which they helped happen, starting with their 2015 debut Brave, which became the first ever Top 10 album by a UK country music artist. That success continued with a succession of hit albums: My Universe (2016), Accidentally On Purpose (2018), Good Years (2020), 10 Year Plan (2022) and Undone Vol 1 (2024).

Their authenticity saw them embraced by the Nashville scene immediately, leading to two CMA Awards. Touring highlights including C2C Festival and shows as guests to Carrie Underwood, Little Big Town, The Corrs and more.

Kezia Gill

Singer-songwriter Kezia Gill has been singing professionally for over 15 years. From a large musical family of Irish descent, her early years were spent surrounded by music. Her father, a professional musician for over 50 years and her single biggest influence, introduced Kezia to the world of performing, writing and, most importantly, the vast back catalogue of music that has shaped her individual style.

Pulling influences from a wide range of genres including Folk & Irish, Country, Rock and Blues, Gill’s sound is unique. She performs all over the UK and the world, including Europe, Australia and America. Her individual and incomparable style is evident in her original material and her wide repertoire of classic covers. With her impressive vocal range, energy on stage and multi-instrumental talent, Kezia makes every song her own.

Purchase of tickets and entry to the venue are subject to the following Hampton Pool Concert’s terms and conditions. Purchase, and or, use of this ticket signifies agreement to the following:

1. No refunds. In the event of cancellation of the event only the face value of the ticket will be refunded. In the event of a partial cancellation any refund will be at the promoter’s discretion.
2. The following items are not allowed in the venue:
   • These are licensed premises and you are not allowed to bring your own alcohol into Hampton Pool
   • As this is a swimming pool, sharp knives (including cheese knives), ceramics, glass and/or bottles are not allowed onto the premises under any circumstances. This also applies to disposable barbeques, candles, Chinese or sky lanterns, and laser pens
   • Any illegal substances
   • Any item which may reasonably be considered for use as a weapon
3. For your security, we will be conducting bag searches before entry and any items noted above will be confiscated.
4. NO SMOKING ALLOWED (including e-cigarettes/vaping).
5. An adult must accompany children under 16. The responsible adult must be in possession of a child ticket for children aged between 4 and 12 years old (on the date of the concert). Infants aged 3 or below may attend free of charge and no ticket is necessary. In all cases, we would recommend the use of ear defenders for young children.
6. Ticket user assumes all risks of personal injury incidental to the event, whether occurring prior to, during, or subsequent to the event. Ticket user also accepts responsibility for loss, injury or damage to property. However nothing shall exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or any other type of liability that can’t be limited or excluded by law.
7. This ticket is a revocable license. Management reserves the right, without the refund of any portion of the ticket purchase price, to refuse admission or to eject any person who fails to comply with the rules of the venue, any of these terms & conditions and applicable laws.
8. This ticket is valid only for the event for which it is issued. It cannot be switched or transferred to another event. 
9. This ticket is not redeemable for cash.
10. Reproduction of this ticket is not permitted.
11. Ticket user consents to the use of his/her image or likeness, incidental to any video display, transmission or recording of the event by venue, artist or promoter.
12. Any resale of tickets must be at face value or below.
13. This ticket may not be used for advertising, promotion (including contests and sweepstakes) or other trade purposes without the express written consent of the venue.
14. Fake or counterfeit tickets are void.
15. The use of cameras, video or audio recording equipment (including smartphones) for filming performances is prohibited.
16. No readmittance to the venue after initial entry at the main gate.
17. No animals (except assistance dogs) allowed into the venue.
18. We reserve the right to introduce any government or local authority mandated requirements / restrictions in place on the date of the event.

General Information

1. Gates may open up to 20 minutes before advertised starting time.
2. Licensed bar, BBQ and food will be available with all major credit and debit cards accepted.
3. If driving, please park considerately.
4. You may bring folding picnic chairs and tables, but not larger folding tables or non-folding furniture. You should not seek to create an ‘encampment’ in the middle of the body of the audience.
5. Customers are advised to wear appropriate clothing and footwear and protection against potential inclement weather.
6. Please be considerate to others at the concert and do not open umbrellas during performances.

8. Warning - Strobe lighting may be used during the concert.
