Greener Homes Workshop: Solar Panels and Batteries

☀️ Could solar power work for your home?

Solar panels. Batteries. Lower bills. But is it worth it for you?

Come along to our practical Powerhouse Workshop and find out what really works — from people who have actually done it.You’ll hear directly from Hanover & Elm Grove residents who have installed solar panels and batteries: why they did it, what it cost, what they learned, the challenges they faced and the difference it has made to their energy bills.

POP Energy will provide expert, independent guidance on the things you really need to know:

☀️ Will solar work on my roof?
🔋 Do I need a battery?
💷 What will it cost — and what could I save?
🏠 What about flats or flat roofs?
🔧 How do I find a good installer?
✅ What is MCS certification?
⚡ What about electricity tariffs and selling surplus power?

Bring your questions — whether you're just curious, seriously considering solar, or already planning an installation. There’ll be plenty of opportunity to ask questions, see demonstrations, compare experiences and chat informally with local residents and experts.

No sales pitch. Just practical advice, real experiences and useful information to help you decide what’s right for your home.
